- Note: Prior to 2015, black carriers were sold with part numbers including TPL1710, TPL1712, TPL1714, TPL1716, TPL2471, TPL1718, TPL1720, TPL1722
The outer shell carrier and other non-ballistic components are warranted to be free from material and manufacturing defects for 24 months. The outer shell carrier warranty shall be void if the product has been altered, abused, or misused, stored improperly, or not cleaned in accordance with cleaning instructions.
Carrier Cleaning Instructions:
- 1. Remove ballistic filler inserts from the front and back of outer-shell vest (carrier)
- 2. Hook and pile fastener should be in closed position during washing cycle
- 3. Automatic machine wash the outer shell vest (carrier) only using 'durable-press' cycle at medium water temperature (approx. 120 farenheit)
- 4. Use low-sudsing detergent according to detergent manufacturer's directions
- 5. DO NOT USE BLEACH
- 6. Carrier only may be tumble-dried at medium temperature setting or may be line dried
- 7. Carrier only may be commercially dry-cleaned
- 8. Carrier must be completely dry before inserting ballistic fillers
