We have over 25 years of assembling and supplying a wide range of kits for military, communications, emergency response and law enforcement requirements.
We have assembled and shipped many of our kits on very short notice, accelerating production of fingerprinting kits for Homeland Security needs after 9/11, and installation and repair kits for the Vehicular Interconnect System (VIS) for Middle East military operations. We also successfully surged production of mine sweeper kits for use in the Middle East.

Fingerprinting Kits: UNICOR has experience in assembling fingerprinting kits in portable, convenient, heavy-duty carrying cases for use by Homeland Security, Border Patrol, law enforcement and various military customers. These kits were highly user friendly and required minimal time to set up and record viable fingerprints. Our kits included fingerprint cards, pads and cleansing towelettes. They were available in either ink and inkless varieties used in automated fingerprint identification systems.
Emergency Response Kits: UNICOR has experience assembling emergency response kits for specific customer needs, ranging from immediate response and trauma kits to assist one or a few injured people to advanced trauma care kits for hundreds of people in large buildings. The kits were housed in heavy duty portable carrying cases or wheeled cases for larger kits. The kits provided vital equipment, medications and surgical tools for first responders, including CPR equipment, splints, wound management, infection control, and burn and eye injury materials. In addition, we supplied triage kits that, in addition to containing emergency medical gear and pre-hospital tools, also had easy-to-use materials to care for and organized injured people by degree and type of injury, and emergency communication radios.
Current kitting operations:: One factory is focused on serving the kitting needs of our Bureau of Prisons colleagues and assembles inmate hygiene kits for initial admission and for routine replenishments. We also provide footwear management services for the BOP and supply boots and other footwear for inmates. In both cases, other agencies have taken advantage of those existing services to help them meet their needs for first-responders, emergency situations, disaster relief, and refugee care.
