Payment Options

The key distinction is between the payment options accepted for online orders versus those accepted offline (telephone, e-mail, contract)

Online Store Payment Options

  • Credit Cards: VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express - these must be federal government cards and not personal credit cards.
    NOTE: In accordance with A-2014-04 Memorandum: Federal Credit Card Usage and Restrictions, UNICOR will not accept payment(s) from a credit card in excess of $10,000 per order in total purchases; orders exceeding this limit should be paid for with purchase orders, MIPRS, MOA's, MOU's, or other methods that save the Federal government and taxpayers excessive transaction charges. Orders from UNICOR that violate these rules may be held until alternate payment can be arranged.
  • Purchase Order w/payment by Check - you must know your agency treasury routing information
  • Purchase Order w/payment by IPAC - you must know your Treatury Accounting System (TAS) data

Offline Payment Options

Orders placed by fax, e-mail, phone, EDI, contracts, schedule agreements, etc. (everything but our online stores).

  • DD 448 - MIPR (Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request) - Send a copy of your DOD MIPR funding and other government agency funding documents to UNICOR.MIPRS.Funding@usdoj.gov.
  • Standard FEDSTRIP/MILSTRIP System
  • MOA (Memorandum of Agreement)
  • MOU (Memorandum of Understanding)
  • DD 1149 OR SF 1449- Purchase Order
  • DD 1155 Order for Supplies and Services
  • OF 347- Order for Supplies and Services
