How do I Order Large Numbers of Name Plates or Name Badges?

Ordering one or two name badges is easy - just enter the couple lines of information to be imprinted and add-to-cart. Many customers do this for large orders and the advantage is that you have one badge per line item which facilitates shipping lists, tracking, and invoicing. But it is pretty tedious to enter online.

To avoid that, we suggest you enter the desired quantity and, instead of entering the inscription for one item, just enter "See subsequent e-mail". Place your order and immediately after receiving your order number, send an e-mail to Unicor.Sign.Factory@usdoj.gov and supply the individual inscriptions in the e-mail or as a word/excel attachment along with your order number and instructions to apply to the specific line item. Upon receipt we will review and finalize the order for manufacturing. if we have any questions, we will contact you. To contact us by phone, please call 1-800-827-3168 during regular hours and ask for the Sign Department.

How do get my manager's approval for my proposed purchase?

If everything is sold online, then add the desired items and quantities to a shopping list. You will see a link to 'Share Items'. You will both receive an e-mail with a link to see your items. When your manager clicks on the link they will see your list as a cart complete with prices, lead times, pictures of your items, and links back to the product pages for more details. They may edit the cart, save it as a ShoppingList, and/or order it. They may also share it (with or without changes) back with you or your procurement agent for ordering.
