FSC 6920: Metal Armament Training Devices

On January 12, 2012, Federal Prison Industries, Inc. (FPI) posted a notice in the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps). In this notice, FPI announced its proposal to produce Metal Armament Training Devices, FSC 6920, on a competitive basis without invoking its mandatory source status.

FPI received no comments from any interested parties regarding this proposed production, within the 30 days allowed. After consideration, on April 19, 2012, the FPI Board of Directors approved FPI to produce Metal Armament Training Devices, classified in FSC 6920, on a competitive basis and without the use of FPI’s mandatory source status.

Interested parties have a right to raise questions at any time with FPI’s Board of Directors.
